ARE YOU MEMORABLE?

Why O why do you amazing ladies forget how beautiful you are? Do you know you can feel like the most beautiful sexiest lady in the world? How? Buy buying things you wear for a season? Hmm nope. Fendi bag? No not really.

Over and over again,I hear stories of women spending money they dont have on things that don't fullfill them more than 6 hours.

The average women spends $15,000 - $40,000 on jewelry, closets of red soled high heels, purses with LV's while screaming "I have nothing to wear." running away from While there is nothing wrong with shopping,

these thoughts and emotions with mass produced machine made items.

Perhaps life has managed to steal or bury your humanity and forgotten your undoable desirablity and beauty.  Because of our modern chaotic busy lives, we need visual reminders. THings that rbing us to our center again. Something long lasting.

RED LIPS IN A CONCENTRATION CAMP.

Demonstrating beauty's role in human nature, here is a story when the British Red Cross arrived to the Belsen horror camps in Germany doing their best to bring nourishment and supplies the dying victims.

"somehow, a very large quantity of lipstick arrived. This was not at all what we men wanted, as we were screaming for hundreds and thousands of other things. I wish so much that I could discover who did it, it was the action of genius, sheer unadulterated brilliance.

I believe nothing did more for those dying women than the lipstick. Women lay in bed with no sheets and no nightie but with scarlet red lips, you saw them wandering about with nothing but a blanket over their shoulders, but with scarlet red lips. I saw a woman dead on the post mortem table and clutched in her hand was a piece of lipstick. At last someone had done something to make them individuals again. That lipstick started to give them back their humanity."

What are you gonna spend your money on? Another pair of shoes that will sit in a dark closet for 95% of its life or a bringth work f art that hangs int he light of day 100% of the time?

Do you get your fullfillement from buying the latest high heels with the red sole? The trendiest LV bag, jewelry, things that you will wear for a season, only to end up sad at night looking at the ceiling wondering if you are thought about, if you are memorable, loved.

You don't think twice on spending half your earnings on such things, yet one of a kind handmade emotional investments,  spiritual reminders, and esteem boosters such as glamour portraitures, and "memory capsule art" are seen as uncessesary.

EDUCATE

Historically, religious organizations commissioned much of the portraiture art and, over time, wealth and power made the transition into the private sector, said Kathryn Evans, a curatorial assistant at the Smithsonian gallery.

Carolyn Kinder Carr, deputy director and chief curator at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C, American portraiture dates to the 17th century.

According to Jennifer Williams, director of the American Society of Portrait Artists, "People are increasingly choosing paintings over photographs because paintings last longer. People are trying to get back to family and family oriented things,'' she said.

The portraiture business has grown partly because people have developed a sense of their own mortality. He estimated out of the several thousand artist painting portraits only several dozen do it full time.

Recent studies have shown that businesses and entrepreneurs not displaying professional portraits of Directors and Executives on their website and marketing materials loose credibility with potential clients.

These portraits are family  investments. People spend a fortune on machine made mass produced shoes,  yet seem to struggle with idea of spending money on human, hand crafted, one of a kind, customized items, lasting a lifetime passed down for generations.  Beautiful Louboutin's make bad heirlooms.

IMPORTANCE OF ART

For thousands of years portraiture was original way of showing you and loved ones. .. And it still is. During modern times, photography became the easy and affordable alternative to those who could not afford the expense of a masterful artist. Now that photography has becme mainstream, sort of like email vs hand written notes, it has become stale, predictable unoriginal and lame,

ME

I'm a company that enhances and arouses the sex kitten in every woman.

You don't even need to hire me. Weather you buy from me or someones else, there are a few things yuo should consider. Here is a list of my competitors. But something tells me you really like what I do and will stick around.

Your future art portrait is something that can be passed down your beautiful daughter and her future children. Sneakers, smartphones, HDTV's don't make great heirlooms to pass down. - I say that with respect, but also as a nudge. This is definitely an investment that you want to spend money on.

Customize things that are impossible in photography.

Unlike photography, portrait artworks works can take up to 50 hours to create. When making these creations, besides being the painter, in essence, I am the  hair dresser, the stylist , the set designer, the storyteller, and more. This was a side job that has now become my full time job which I love very much.

"HIERLOOM PAINTINGS"

I think photographs are great for capturing an event like a wedding," said Bradley. "That's more practical than having someone paint it. But a portrait is supposed to reveal something about the character of the subject. It's richer, it has more depth. It's the people brought to life."

"One thing I've picked up is that photographs make everything really sharp and that's not how our eyes perceive things," said Bradley. "Whatever we're focusing on, that looks sharp and everything around it is blurry. So that's what you want to go for in portraits, not photo-realistic paintings."

Waiting list

I am a New York based operation and are commissioned from clients worldwide.

Due to my portraits being in heavy demand, I have quite a long waiting list, often booked 8 to 10 months in advance depending on the amount / complexity of client's wishes. My "sketches" are usually about 6 to 8 weeks. The client list can always be viewed on my progression session blog on the left hand side.

I have a first come first served policy. The sooner I can lock you into my calendar with the deposit, the faster you get to the final product. However, if payment is made upfront in full, you cut the line from #45 to #10 and get you it around 4 month turnaround rather than the 10 months wait.

STEPS

The process is incredibly simple

A) Pre-consultation. Put down portrait deposit. Reserve your position on my calendar waiting list.

B) Local photoshoot, or let me browse your facebook / Instagram, Skype / emailed photos for best pic.

C) I email you a proof of art for approval / corrections.

D) pay balance.

E) I ship artwork to you.

FAQ

WHO ARE THESE MODELS?

What models? 99% of my portraits are women all over the world who commissioned me to create beautiful artworks of them as self esteem boosters, hierlooms, investments, unique gifts ideas for birthdays, weddings, engagements, Christmas gifts and more. None are models but I make them as beautiful as they want to be. I'd be honored to paint you.

I WANT A PORTRAIT BUT I AM NOT "SO PRETTY"!

Look at my "before and afters" to fully appreciate the transformative process I carve into each piece. You would be surprised how many of women I paint aren't traditionally "photogenic", "model-esque". Many felt intimidated pre-portrait. Most are real women via Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook, and from over 40 countries.

It's a passion of mine to excavate the deepest inner beauty every woman posseses and to show her true reflection the look and feel beautiful because I think ALL women are beautiful. As long as your eyes have soul, I can make you shine a little bit brighter.  Want to add curves? Reduce a few bumps? Need hips? A wasp-hourglass shape? Long locks? Curls? Not a problem. Since I make up the body, hair and wardrobe from imagination, anything is possible.

 HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

Depending on the complexity, portraits take 4 - 10 months to complete.

HOW LONG IS YOUR WAITING LIST?

Much like a popular tattoo artist, I have a current waiting list at 45 people deep. ( 4 - 10 month wait for those who've already made deposits ) I have a first come first served policy. The sooner I can lock you into my calendar with the deposit, the faster you get to the final product. However, if payment is made upfront in full, you cut the line from #45 to #10 and get you it around 4 month turnaround rather than the 10 months wait.

SHOULD I HOLD OFF UNTIL WAITING LIST SUBSIDES BEFORE MAKING DEPOSIT?

A deposit is the only way to get on my calendar / waiting list. First come first served with exception to full upfront payment. At a 4 - 10 month wait with 2 people booking me a week that pushes my  calendar further ahead. In other words, you won't get art until 5 years from now. To see current wait, visit the "side column" in my blog. I list all the people currently waiting for their portraits. Clients love to feel part of the process and this is like having there right here.

I DON'T HAVE NICE / PERFECT PICS.

If you look at my before and after images,  you will see that the majority of my portraits are based on simple, candid, sometimes cheesy camera phone pics. I use them as the base of inspiration to create many of these highly professional pieces. (As long as images aren't too small or blurry.)

In no way do your images have to be finished, polished or professional. I am the artist responsible for perfecting the transformation. It's my job to use my imagination for everything else adding to your beauty and make some magical images.

DO WE MEET IN PERSON?

If you are local we can arrange an impromtu photo shoot, however,

The digital age brings us closer together via Facebook, Skype, Instagram, and Skype. I make up the body, hair, and wardrobe so I would only need the face photos. Since my client base is worldwide, I hardly meet any of them in the flesh.

WHAT IS THE PROGRESS ON MY ARTWORK?

I post sneak peek details of the progress on my blog. Your will be included.

CAN I GET MY ART SOONER?

if payment is made upfront in full, you cut the line getting your art around a 4 month turnaround rather than the 10 months wait.

WHAT IS YOUR TECHNIQUE?

Classical painting and airbrush techniques applied with modern tools. I am a traditional artist for 21 years that has fell madly in love with digital painting for the past 18 years. But by no means does that suggest things are easier. They are in fact harder. I apply old world techniques in the modern era. However the final result is a mixture of inks, solvents, acrylics, and oil on canvas.

FRAMED?

I provide minimal framing for 16 x 20 sizes only.  I will gladly assist in the frame selection on larger canvases, however they do not come framed.

WHY ARE YOU SO PRICEY?
